Using Standby
Standby’s main feature is Booking Assist for supported Lightning Lane Multi Pass rides. The same iPhone app also checks theme park wait times, sets alerts, and shows updates on your Home and Lock Screens.
You can view live wait times, use in-park navigation, and keep one active alert for free. Paid plans add more alerts and other features.

Booking Assist
Your time in the park matters. Booking Assist automatically books eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times for the rides and guests you choose. Spend less time refreshing and more time enjoying Walt Disney World.
Watch up to 10 attractions at once
Standby secures the first eligible opening it finds, then stops looking for that ride. The time could be early or late. This suits flexible plans when you are happy to accept the first return time found.
Standby secures an opening, then keeps looking for an earlier return time. It stops improving that reservation once its current return window starts in 30 minutes or less. Watch Earlier also works on eligible imported passes. An earlier time is not guaranteed.
Booking Assist supports eligible Multi Pass attractions at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Check the app for the rides available to watch.
No. A Watcher asks Standby to look for and attempt an eligible booking. An opening can disappear, or your party may not yet be eligible. Treat a ride as reserved only after the booking is confirmed, and check your return time in your plans.
No. Buy Multi Pass and make your initial advance selections in My Disney Experience. Booking Assist helps with supported bookings and earlier return times after that; it does not make the initial 7:00 AM selections.
Booking Assist currently supports eligible Walt Disney World Multi Pass attractions. It does not book Disneyland attractions, Single Pass attractions, or Premier Pass. Standby’s broader wait-time coverage does not mean Booking Assist is available at every park.
Yes, for the connected, eligible guests you select. Review the party for each Watcher and choose only the people who will ride together. A guest’s eligibility is checked for the specific park and date; access on another day does not carry over automatically.
No. Once your Watcher is set up, Standby can keep watching without you manually refreshing. Keep notifications enabled and review your plans when you receive an update. Check in on the app if a Watcher needs attention or Booking Assist is temporarily unavailable.
Standby imports supported active Multi Pass reservations. They keep their existing times unless you enable Watch Earlier to look for an earlier return time. You can enable it while the current return window starts more than 30 minutes away. Check the confirmed time after every update.
Yes. Use Earliest or Watch Earlier to seek an earlier time for an eligible pass. You can also cancel Lightning Lanes booked by Standby inside the app; read the confirmation before canceling. Removing an imported pass only removes it from Standby, not Disney. Keep This Time stops improvements while retaining your booking.
No. Download the official My Disney Experience app for park reservations, PhotoPass, virtual queues, and purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, or Premier Pass. Standby is an independent iPhone companion for wait times and eligible Multi Pass booking.
No. It books eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times at Walt Disney World. It does not book Lightning Lane Single Pass, Lightning Lane Premier Pass, virtual queues, or park reservations. Arrival windows still follow Disney’s confirmed return times.
Yes, when that ride is on the supported list and your party is eligible that day. You can watch an eligible Hollywood Studios Multi Pass ride such as Slinky Dog Dash. Check the live list in the app; coverage can change.
Yes. For example, prepare EPCOT searches while starting your day at Animal Kingdom. You do not need to be physically in the destination park. With eligible park-hopping admission, new selections in another park become available after your first Multi Pass redemption, subject to Disney’s rules and availability. Standby can keep those searches waiting until your party qualifies.

Download Standby on your iPhone and choose your plan in the app.
Your access period and activation date are shown in the app before you buy.
Day and Week do not renew. Annual subscriptions renew yearly until canceled. Manage Apple subscriptions through Apple and direct subscriptions through the customer portal in Standby Settings.
For Apple purchases, request a refund from Apple. For direct purchases or access issues, contact Standby support. Refund eligibility depends on purchase terms and applicable law.
