1. Information we collect

Kinetics Automation LLC operates Standby. This policy covers personal information handled through our app, website, and related services.

We collect information you provide, information from your use of Standby, and information from services you connect or use to pay. Depending on the features you use, this includes:

• Device identifiers, app and network information, usage activity, preferences, alerts, and visit history.
• Location with your permission. If you enable visit or route recording, precise location and timestamps are uploaded and stored to provide your history, routes, and related features. Location may also be used for nearby parks and visit weather.
• Purchase details, payment references, access status, and the email you provide for website purchases. Apple and Stripe process payments; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
• For Booking Assist, linked Disney profile and party information, including names, eligibility, plans, preferences, booking history, and service diagnostics. This can include other guests visible through your connection. You must have permission to share their information.
• Information you send when contacting us or submitting feedback.

We do not ask for or receive your Disney password.

2. Why we use it

We use information to provide the features you choose, manage purchases and bookings, send alerts, offer support, improve Standby, and understand usage and advertising performance. We also use it to keep the service secure, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share information as needed with providers that help run Standby, including hosting, communications, support, and payment providers. These include Amazon Web Services, Apple, and Stripe. Disney receives information needed for the Booking Assist actions you request.

Meta and Reddit may receive usage, device, and purchase information for analytics and advertising measurement. We do not use Booking Assist party lists or precise location trails to target ads.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising measurement may count as sharing or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect people and the service, or as part of a business sale or reorganization.

4. Analytics and your settings

Standby uses analytics, and our website uses browser storage and advertising technologies, including the Reddit pixel, to understand usage, referrals, and campaign results.

You can turn off Share Usage Analytics in the app under Settings → Data & Privacy. This stops new events through our main analytics system. Some partner analytics and platform diagnostics are controlled separately.

Manage location, notifications, and tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Denying tracking permission does not stop all analytics. Browser settings, content blockers, and provider opt-out tools may limit website measurement.

Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Contact us to exercise applicable privacy or advertising opt-out rights.

5. Keeping and protecting information

We keep information as long as needed to provide features, maintain your history, offer support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet business or legal obligations. Some support and booking records have no fixed deletion date. Anonymous or combined statistics may be kept longer.

Deleting the app does not delete information stored by Standby. You can use available in-app deletion controls or contact us. Some records may need to remain for legal, payment, security, dispute, or backup purposes; we will explain relevant limits.

We use safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, using legally required transfer protections.

6. Your privacy rights

You can manage permissions, delete content where the app provides controls, and disconnect Disney in Booking Assist. An action already underway may need to finish before disconnection.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; limit or object to its use; withdraw consent; opt out of advertising sharing; or appeal a decision. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify that the information belongs to you.

Where European privacy law applies, we process information to provide the service you request, for legitimate business interests such as security and improvement, with consent where required, and to meet legal obligations. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Children and policy updates

Standby is not intended for children under 13. Booking Assist may handle a child’s party information when an authorized adult manages their plans. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was collected without appropriate authorization.

We may update this policy as Standby changes. We will post the updated version and date, with additional notice for significant changes when appropriate or required.
